Not every tired commercial building needs the same solution. Some buildings can be cleaned and resprayed; others are better suited to overcladding, recladding or targeted replacement sections.
Our approach is to inspect first, consider access and condition, then recommend the most practical option for the building — balancing appearance, durability, disruption and long-term value.
Where possible, we help extend the life of existing buildings before full replacement is needed. Where the surface has gone too far, we’ll say so and advise on a longer-lasting upgrade.

Choosing the Right Cladding Solution
Not every tired commercial building needs the same treatment. We assess condition, access, budget and long-term value before recommending the most practical option.
Reclad
Best where existing sheets are damaged, unsuitable or beyond economical refurbishment. Replacement sections or full recladding may be the better option.
Respray
Best where the existing cladding is sound but faded, stained or tired. Preparation and coating can refresh the building without full replacement.
Overclad
Best where paint is failing or a longer-lasting upgrade is needed. New sheets can transform the building while retaining the existing structure.
This commercial building had tired external cladding with areas of peeling paint and a poor overall appearance. Repainting alone was unlikely to provide the best long-term result, so an overcladding solution was chosen.
New sheets were installed over the existing cladding using a reverse profile to help maximise ventilation behind the new surface. The result was a cleaner, more durable finish, a major visual improvement and a longer-lasting upgrade, with material warranties available up to 40 years depending on the system specified.
Pro Eco is based near the Devon and Somerset border and works across both counties on commercial cladding, overcladding, recladding and cladding respraying projects.
